VSI Facilitator Saturday Sits

4th Saturday Each Month (unless indicated)

The Vipassana Support International Facilitators present this series of Saturday Meditation Workshops to introduce people to Vipassana (Insight) Meditation. VSI Facilitators are meditators selected by Shinzen Young to assist others with Vipassana Meditation. The day is comprised of facilitator-led talks, question and answer periods, guided meditations and alternating periods of silent sitting and walking. Depending on available leaders, some Saturdays include Guided Movement Meditations (such as Qi Gong or Yoga). Shinzen is not present at these workshops.

The workshops are open to both beginning and experienced meditators and are primarily held in Noble Silence. All traditions of meditation are welcome to participate. Opportunities are available to meet for individual sessions with experienced facilitators who have been trained by Shinzen Young.
